Reflection Symmetry

  • Divides figure in halves that are mirror images Hearts, Squares, Diamonds

Rotation Symmetry

  • When object is turned around a center pivot point (less than full turn) and reaches a positions where it looks the same 
  •  Windmills, wheels, pinwheels

 Translation Symmetry 

  •  Same object reappears in a different location
  •  Strip patterns, wallpaper

                                                       TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1                                                          WEEK 6 (Dec 11th - Dec 14th)      This week was bit of hurry burry.  We had regular class till Tuesday.  We were busy till Tuesday as we had to complete our revision classes.  Wednesday onwards we had our examination duty.  I was a bit tensed as it was my first experience.  As usual on Monday I reached the school by 900am and got duty in the UP section.  The teachers gave certain instructions to be followed and I could manage duties well.  Apart from other days I was given duty at 8A.  It was a division separated for ...
