Teaching practice weekly reflection -1

As part of the BE.d curriculum, the 1st phase of teaching practice begins on 6th November  2023.

We, a team including 7 members from Christ Nagar College of Education were sent to  GHSS for girls Cottonhill, Vazhuthacaud for the 1st phase of teaching practice. 

Day -1

(6/11/2023 - Monday)

It's a new beginning. First day of my teaching practice with much excitement and anxiety.  The class assigned to me was Xl. C. In the class, I have introduced the concept of polynomials through activity based. It was a good start. 

Day -2

(7/11/2023 -Tuesday)

On the second day, my class was in 1st period. I took the lesson through the constructivist model. I have provided activity cards and PPT. Students were involved in the activity very well. They acquire the concept through various steps. 

Day -3

(8/11/2023- Wednesday)

On this day I took 2 classes in 9. C and 8 . C. lt was my first class at 8. C, I was able to make a good rapport with students. I introduced the concept of compound interest to them. For 9. C, problem-solving related to the concept of polynomials.

Day - 4

(9/11/2023 -Thursday )

On this day I have continuous classes in the first and second periods on 9. C and 8. C. It was a tedious one. I teach special expressions of polynomials for 9. C and for 8. C, solve problems related to compound interest. 

Day - 5 

(10/11/2023 - Friday)

It was a challenging day, my optional teacher came to observe my class at 9. C on the first period. I was a little nervous but everything was fine.
