TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1 WEEK 7

                                                   TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1

                                                         WEEK 7 (Dec 18th - Dec 22nd)

The students, teachers and everything around the school atmosphere was in an examination mood.  The sights all round made me think of my school days; some students were sitting in groups and they were all busy with their last minute revision and some at the same time sitting leisurely and having fun with their friends,  The most beautiful sight for me was that some of the parents were busy teaching their kids the portions for that particular day's examination.  It made me think of how much struggle each parent is facing to bring up their children and make them climb the ladder of success.  One week went so fast as I had examination duty in the morning as well as in the evening.  Those two weeks of examination duties made me realize minute things that we need to be careful as teacher.  I am happy that I could learn new lessons from small mistakes made by me.  I had most of the duties given in the UP section.  I enjoyed spending time with those tiny ones.  Their smiling faces and innocent love made my each day more happier.  Other than examination duties, we were also given discipline duties, arranging the question papers, marking the absentees from all the classes and also distributing tea and snacks to the teachers during exam duties.  These were all new and exciting experiences.

This year we missed the Christmas celebration conducted in our college, as we are having the training period.  Yet seven of the trainees decided to go out on Thursday after our school hours.  We found happiness and Christmas vibes all round the city.  Friday was the last day of the examination.  All the students were super excited as their school closes for Christmas vacation.  We as trainees were also happy about it even though the thoughts of our works to be completed was worrying us.  We all returned back to our homes by 4:00pm happily and with new hopes of waiting for a new year.
