TEACHING PRACTICE: PHASE II WEEK 6
THE END OF MY JOURNEY IN MANACAUD SCHOOL.
8 August 2024, I had class during the 4th period. I returned the answer sheets from the achievement test and discussed the answers with the students, clearing their doubts. I also showcased my innovative teaching aid, which excited the students and elicited a positive response. I divided the class into two groups, awarding points to the group that correctly framed the equations. We played eight rounds of the game, and I gave small gifts to all group members, including the winning group. After signing the attendance, I went home.
9 August 2024 was the last day of my teaching practice. I can hardly believe it's real. After the accident and surgery, with months of bed rest, I was unsure if I could complete this course. However, through willpower, perseverance, my parents' prayers, friends' support, and guidance from my teachers, I made it a reality.
In the first period, I did not teach but asked the students for feedback on my teaching methods. I collected their responses, wished them good luck, and left the class. I then met with my concerned teacher, informed her it was my last day, and received her blessings. Later, I signed and sealed my attendance register at the office and went home. I am deeply grateful to everyone who supported me throughout this journey, especially our principal, Dr. Preetha T.L., for her unwavering support. This marks the end of a significant and fulfilling journey.
