                                                    TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1                                                          WEEK 7 (Dec 18th - Dec 22nd)     The students, teachers and everything around the school atmosphere was in an examination mood.  The sights all round made me think of my school days; some students were sitting in groups and they were all busy with their last minute revision and some at the same time sitting leisurely and having fun with their friends,  The most beautiful sight for me was that some of the parents were busy teaching their kids the portions for that particular day's examination.  It made me think of how much struggle each parent is facing to brin...

                                                       TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1                                                          WEEK 6 (Dec 11th - Dec 14th)      This week was bit of hurry burry.  We had regular class till Tuesday.  We were busy till Tuesday as we had to complete our revision classes.  Wednesday onwards we had our examination duty.  I was a bit tensed as it was my first experience.  As usual on Monday I reached the school by 900am and got duty in the UP section.  The teachers gave certain instructions to be followed and I could manage duties well.  Apart from other days I was given duty at 8A.  It was a division separated for ...

                                                    TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1                                                          WEEK 5 (Dec 4th - Dec 8th)     The week started with much happiness and a feel of making each and every day a special one.  As usual we reached everyday to school at 9:15am and we signed our registers.  Monday as soon as we reached the school we were divided into pairs and we were asked to conduct election of students to the school parliament.  It was our first experience and so we were a bit nervous as well as excited.  Beyond our expectation we could manage the election well and it was over by 10am.     We had given substitution on all days in...

                                                     TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1                                                          WEEK 4 (Nov 27th - Dec 10st)          The fourth week thus started as usual.  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, like all others I was also busy with completing the portions for their Christmas exam, that is going to be held from December 13th.  Fortunately I could manage it and complete it on time.  I was really tensed as we were informed to complete the portions by next week.  The State Science Expo was being held at our school from Thursday to Friday.  In between I got substitution for various classes and it was the time I could f...
